I've watched this four times in a row and still have my heart in my throat.
The next time you're in a mind-numbing all-day seminar and somebody mentions the term "creative problem-solving" or "thinking outside the box," this is what they are talking about.
Thanks to my Dad (the pilot), who found it...
UPDATE: See the comments below. This may not be real footage (but, damn, it's a good story).

I was as amazed as you were, but it seems to be a viral marketing video for a clothing company, some kind of cgi/rc/real plane mashup. But still an amazing video. This one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsNIhBlyepc showing an rc plane looks real to me, though.

Now this is real flying: Imagine you are flying a plane at 15,000 ft, you have a stroke and go blind. Read on....

Snopes still lists this one as "undetermined":

Fun to watch, either way!

You know, that's interesting. When I first watched it, until the canopy opened, I was wondering if it was an RC plane. I'd love to know if it's real. And, on a different topic, is that THE Andy Cohen...the one I grew up with?

It isn't real, but it's a really good fake. The way the plane bounces when it lands is totally a RC bounce, very different to a real airplanes bounce. Still very impressive fake.

@Carl...if the video is a fake, how do you explain the pilot moving in the cockpit?
